Job Advert Location Description

To provide person centred support in a residential home for people with mental health difficulties and age related health and well being issues. the home offers support across the whole day by 3-4 workers and with night cover provided by a night worker and sleep over staff member.

there are 10 people living in the home and you will support to promote their independency and to develop new skills.  you will help people feel safe and well supported in all areas of their daily living from personal care to social activities.

this is a bank support worker role so we are looking for local, flexible people.

Job Advert Role Description

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
