Job Advert Role Description

Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is conveniently situated right in the heart of Canterbury’s city centre, offering easy access to all. Our expert team of clinicians are able to deliver an established outpatient based treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including counselling, depression, anxiety, stress, addictions, trauma based, EMDR, bereavement counselling and eating disorders. We provide high quality support to adults, young people, older people, couples and families, offering a practical, effective therapeutic outpatient service.

We are looking for a sessional (self-employed) Integrative therapist to work at the Priory Wellbeing Centre in Canterbury offering Integrative therapy as a main speciality profile to adolescents/adults or solely adults.

The candidate would be required to hold a full accreditation with a recognised UK accreditation body.  The successful candidate would ideally be able to provide a varied modality to treat adolescent/adult mental health issues. 

These may include any one or more of the following; ACT, CAT, CBT, DBT, EMDR. 

The ability to offer counselling would be an advantage as well as specific gained training on treating clients with low level eating disorders.  This role would be for an Integrative adolescent/adult therapist or solely adult. The candidate will be required to work within the clinic offering a blended approach of face to face and remote 1 to 1 therapy sessions. 

The minimum required hours would be 8 per week but not limited to 8. The role would require good computer skills and an adaptability to learning new systems for our patient record system (Full training will be provided on all our systems).
