We have a wonderful opportunity for a CBT therapist to join our friendly, well-established and experienced therapy team. This is a full-time permanent post, based on-site within the hospital. 

We welcome applications from BABCP accredited therapists with at least two years post-qualification experience in delivery of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). 

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, flexible, and an excellent team-player. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an MDT is essential. This role is unique in that it offers the opportunity to work across multiple private service lines (inpatient, day therapy and outpatient) whilst maintaining a caseload tailored to your strengths, as well as the areas you wish to develop. 

The role will be predominantly based within our private adult acute inpatient ward, adult day therapy and adult outpatient therapy. The successful candidate will deliver a mixture of group and individual therapy. Our day therapy provision offers therapists ability to learn and develop skills in DBT. 

Common mental health conditions that you will see in our service include depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders and trauma, often with co-morbidity such as neurodiverse conditions.

Applicants should have the competence to develop collaborative formulations and treatment plans, be familiar with outcome measures and adhere to evidence-based practice. 

Working knowledge of other therapy modalities is desirable, such as DBT or EMDR. Experience in ADOS would also be beneficial.

The role is supported by a wider MDT including Consultant Psychiatrists, Nurses, Healthcare assistants, Therapy assistants, Occupational therapists, Doctors and the Management team.
