We are looking to recruit a highly motivated occupational therapist to join our small team led by our senior OT, and work alongside our therapy assistants. 
We are one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).


You will work alongside a multidisciplinary of dedicated mental health nurses, consultant psychiatrists, therapists and psychologists to deliver quality care and improve the long term outcomes of inpatient care. 


Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to acute service wards, focusing on patients with complex behaviours. Support with the assessment, planning, and implementation of individualised treatment plans, particularly in activities of daily living (ADL) assessments within the general ward.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to Therapy Assistants to ensure the delivery of consistent and effective patient care.
• Dedicate one day per week to our specialist care service, working with patients with autism and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Conduct therapeutic groups as needed, aimed at enhancing patient engagement and progress.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Significant experience in a clinical OT role, preferably within an NHS or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of behavioural health, particularly in adult male and female patient groups.
