Job Advert Location Description

Cotswold Lodge is located in New Romney, in Kent. It offers residential support for eight men with a primary learning disability diagnosis. We are located on a private estate, near the seafront of a market town.

Our team are dedicated to ensuring that all the people we care for have a voice that is heard and that they receive the support, encouragement and empowerment to live the lives that they choose.

We can also support autistic men, and those who have:

• Mental health needs
• Physical disabilities
• Difficulties with communication
• Mild to moderate behaviours that challenge

Job Advert Role Description

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
