Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for Visiting CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists for The Priory Wellbeing Centre Southampton in Mansbridge Road Southampton SO18,

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists to join our team who presently provide psychiatry on an individual basis, both Face to Face and remotely.

Candidates will have experience at consultant level psychiatry and will have held a consultant position in the NHS. A current license to practice and be on the appropriate specialist register is required.

 

Located in a picturesque and accessible area of Southampton, Priory Wellbeing Centre Southampton is set within a beautiful Georgian mansion, complete with private grounds. We provide flexible mental health support in a comfortable and welcoming environment, making us the ideal place for busy people to get the support they need. You will work alongside our team of consultant psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists. 

 

Full training on our systems and policies will be provided.

 

What you need to apply:

  • Interested in providing psychiatry with insightful clients who are motivated to change
  • Providing high quality interventions in accordance with NICE guidance
  • An inspirational collaborator with excellent communication skills
  • Have previous experience in the area of outpatient acute mental health
  • Skilled in the facilitation of a range of interventions
  • Be keen to participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation and management plans
