Job Advert Role Description
Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group and has 77 beds over seven wards including Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, PICU, Rehabilitation and Recovery, Addiction treatment and general psychiatry.
We are looking to employ a part-time enthusiastic occupational therapy assistant to work across three acute wards on Thursdays and Fridays. .
You will be working alongside occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants and other members of the multidisciplinary team. You will be supporting therapeutic goals and improving the care and lives of individuals via group-based interventions.
Under the guidance of the occupational therapist, you will be involved in proactively planning and delivering therapy groups on the ward, encouraging involvement, and helping with developing practical skills and social interactions. You will also be responsible for effectively and accurately updating clinical records and computerised information, in a timely manner.

- Confident in facilitating groups
- Ability to adapt in a busy environment
Desirable experience:
- Experience of working in a health and social care setting
