Job Advert Role Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised individual with experience of Mental Health Act administration in healthcare. This is a specialist administration role which can be demanding and will require the person to engage with others confidently and compassionately, placing patient experience and care at the centre of their approach. It sits within a larger regional team and the post-holder will be a part of creating a supportive community of practice across multiple sites.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Mental Health Act administration of three sites as well as supporting and reporting to the Regional Mental Health Act Lead. The role will also include managing other Mental Health Act Administrators as part of the wider Mental Health Act team.
You will need to have great communication skills. You will need be emotionally resilient and be able to demonstrate an empathy towards our patients and their needs within Mental Health Act legislation. You will need to be able to problem solve with others. You will receive support and development from the regional team and others working in Mental Health Act roles across the country.
