Job Advert Location Description

We have an lovely opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and friendly Occupational Therapist to join Priory Hospital North London's extensive therapy services. This is a senior position and the successful candidate will lead a small but dedicated team to deliver assessments, groups, and individual sessions across three departments.

The OT service supports our two adult acute wards and a specialist OCD unit. There may be times where you will be required to support with complex private patients as well. Multi-disciplinary working is critical to service delivery, and you will be supported by consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nursing colleagues and the therapy services manager.

We have a well-developed CDP pathway and you will receive amply opportunities in developing your career. If you are interested, there are opportunities to join our DBT service and to receive free DBT consult and supervision from a renowned UK expert in the field.  

Essential criteria

  • Accredited Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration in place
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of working within a MDT setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of CPAs 
  • Ability to deliver ADL assessments
  • A high standard of report writing
  • Team-player
  • Positive attitude

Desirable criteria 

  • Previous experience of people management
