Job Advert Role Description

We currently have a vacancy for a part/full time Consultant Psychologist to work in our multidisciplinary therapy team that provides mental health treatment and support to outpatients and CAMHS ED inpatients. Eating disorder treatment experience essential.

 

The role holder will hold a case load of service users on our CAMHS ED Unit and have oversight of the whole psychology provision for our CAMHS ED service.  In addition to this the role holder will hold a small case load of outpatients and will take a lead role in our ASC Pathway.

 

The post holder would join a Therapy team that is committed to evidence based practice, supervision, and providing professional development opportunities. They will be an integral member of the Multidisciplinary Team and contribute to clinical meetings and care planning and offer cllinical guidance and expertise to the wider therapy team

 

Successful candidates will be registered with the Health & Care  Professions Council (HCPC), will have a doctorate in clinical psychology and will be expected to bring the psychological leadership, clinical and consultation skills necessary to offer an outstanding psychology service to their service users and multidisciplinary teams.
