Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be a capable team player who can provide exceptional customer service, somebody who possesses excellent communication skills in order to maintain a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guest’s expectations.

You will be able to successfully manage pressurised situations ensuring effective control of stock purchasing, storage, preparation and service with regard to quality, quantity and safety, therefore having experience of working in a busy kitchen is essential.

The role includes the responsibility of managing a small team to ensure the consistent smooth running of food production areas within the Kitchen, ensuring that all food production areas are operating to the required standards throughout the designated opening hours. Line management responsibilities include the reporting of sickness and holiday absences and ensuring the team is compliant with mandatory training. Overseeing that food operations are controlled in a manner which reaches the desired cost of sales and maximising potential resources.

To ensure that at all times cleanliness, food safety and all other Health and Safety matters are adhered to so as not to breach any legislative points within the Food Safety Act 1990 or the Health and Safety at Work Act.

A full clean driving licence is essential.

Predominant working days are between Monday to Friday 7am-7pm with occasional weekend working to cover for sickness or holiday leave,

Hours can be worked over 3.5 or 4 days per week to enable an efficient balance.
