Job Advert Location Description

Alexandra House provides assessment and support for adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis and who may present complex conditions. Some of the people we support may also have communication difficulties or a physical disability, and predominantly have dual diagnosis, as well as a range of other disabilities such as epilepsy.

Job Advert Role Description

Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Senior Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.

Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker would be beneficial.

Our ideal support worker will:

• Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
• Be able to support in house activities and hobbies
• Be attentive and inspire our residents to achieve more!

Whilst drivers are able to take residents out and about, you don’t need to be a driver to work here – we employ many non-drivers too!
