Job Advert Location Description

We are looking to recruit dedicated support workers to work on a outreach basis in the Cottingham area to support a lady within  her own tenancy. Priory provides assessment and support for adults living with mental health diagnosis, and complex needs. Our outreach services offer 24/7 specialist support in the community with in the service users own home. This model of care is designed to provide just the right level of support; we encourage individuals to develop the skills that they need to live as independently as possible. 

Job Advert Role Description

As a support worker with in this home you will be required to support the individual to access community involvement and professional appointments, support to maintain the tenancy, be proactive around meaningful activity, provide emotional support and also have an understanding around complex needs however full person centred training around this individual will be provided. 

The ideal candidate would also be required to have a love for animals as this is important to the individual you will be supporting (pets will be within the home). 

We would be looking for the candidate to have similar interests of being creative through crafts, gardening, animals and also enjoy the outdoors and nature as support around these activities will be required. 

Due to the requirements of this position we would be looking to recruit female support workers only with fully UK driving licences.
