Job Advert Role Description
The Role:
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will be a critical member of our ward team, working closely with Registered Nurses to assess, plan, and implement patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering care according to individual care plans.
Proactively interact and engage with patients, supporting them in their day to day activities on site and within the local community.
Utilising well-developed observational and listening skills to monitor the mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of patients.
Liaise with staff, family members, and visitors including external professional, both in person and over the phone.
Ensuring strict confidentiality.
Requirements:
Minimum NVQ 1 or GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
Completed the Care Certificate.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a similar environment.
Strong interpersonal skills for regular interaction and information exchange
Basic IT literacy.
Understanding of the need for strict confidentiality
