Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is a 28 bed forensic low secure hospital comprising of two 14 bed wards; Lancaster being the acute admissions ward and Scampton being the rehabilitation ward focusing on community reintegration.
The service supports male patients detained under the Mental Health Act, experiencing mental illness and personality disorders.
Situated in peaceful surroundings in the Lincolnshire countryside, approximately 10 miles from the town of Gainsborough.
Job Advert Role Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Support Services team, reporting to the Support Services Manager, to carry out maintenance tasks and Planned Preventative Maintenance compliance within the role. Hours of work 12:30 - 17:00 four days a week.
This role offers plenty of variety and everyday will be different but some duties will include:
• Undertaking all types of general repairs/renewal in maintenance related issues.
• Carry out compliance checks such as testing fire alarms, vehicle checks and hospital bed inspections under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager
• Provide a security service, maintaining the security and integrity of the estate as well as the safety of its occupants.
• Maintain a high level of Health and Safety awareness in own tasks and generally across the estate.
