Priory Hospital Cardiff are currently looking for Healthcare Workers to join the team.

Priory Hospital Cardiff is a modern mental health treatment unit. The unit includes a variety of facilities, such as three secure gardens, a gym, a hydrotherapy pool, patient practice kitchens, patient social area, art rooms and dedicated support services areas.

The service is currently being developed to provide bespoke treatment packages for a variety of patients with complex mental health needs. The unit will provide a modern, homely environment promoting independence, whilst employing an experienced multi-disciplinary team to oversee and support patient progress.

As a Healthcare Worker, you'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team to support our patients to receive optimal care. Our treatment aims at site are to promote independence and encourage patient involvement in their care through effective communication and engagement. The successful candidate must be honest, hardworking and reliable with a pleasant demeanour and be capable of using initiative. Observe and monitors the wellbeing of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.
Develops and maintains a good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.

 

The shifts are 12 hours on a rota basis to include nights, weekends and bank holidays. Shift times would be:

Day Shift = 07:30 > 19:45
Night Shift = 19:30 > 07:45
Staff will work a set shift pattern, such as
Week 1 = Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 = Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
