Job Advert Location Description

Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Role Description

Sapphire House is located in Maidstone, in Kent. The home supports six autistic males and females, who may also have a learning disability. We are on a quiet street, off a main road, near the town centre.

Our team are committed to empowering and encouraging the people we care for to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible. Together we will work towards building independent skills and confidence, to assist them in meeting their potential.

No day will be the same, you will support service users to make a difference by supporting them to take part in a range of activities, including shopping trips, eating out, bowling gardening to enable them to be part of there community and life good lives. As well as supporting with activities of daily living, including cooking, cleaning, attending appointments etc. 

If you do share our values, we will provide you with the training and support you need, such as obtaining a qualification in health and social care.

We are looking for Support Workers to join us on either Days or Nights.
