Priory is committed to ensuring learning, development and appropriate training is available to all colleagues. We have an exciting opportunity within our Learning & Organisational Development Team, for a E-Learning Specialist to join us and support our growing business. The role will report to the Learning & Organisational Development Business Partner (Projects & Specialist learning).

The E-learning specialist will take ownership of all e-Learning Development and Management with the main responsibility to act as the POC between L&OD and Priory's LMS Provider and the business. The key purpose of the role will be in relation to prioritising new learning requirements, design of e-learning for Priory, reviewing all current e-learning modules and conducting digital learning needs analysis. The post holder will engage with stakeholders regarding all e-learning modules that are mandatory requirements for Priory that will require BAU monitoring and reporting. Understanding the end-user to create impactful digital learning and managing the e-Learning project plan are fundamental to this job role to build the confidence and capability of our workforce.


The role is remote, with national coverage. Travel is likely to be required nationally to sites and regional offices with prior notice and with occasional overnight stays. Monthly attendance at our Leicester People Team office, for meetings also.

Job Advert Location Description


  • Educated to degree level in Computing/Programming or have equivalent qualification specific to the role
  • Clear and precise communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with content formats and approaches with a working knowledge of LMS or CMS platforms such as Moodle or Totara
  • Passion and enthusiasm for digital learning with a practical approach to developing learning solutions
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects in a face-paced environment
  • Have an understanding of emerging learning technologies and look to incorporate these into the learning package


  • Experience in creating SCORM compliant eLearning using authoring tools such as Storyline, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate
  • Experience/understanding of HTML and CSS
