Maple House is a 6 bedded unit for adults with disabilities, autism and/or challenging behaviour. We are passionate about providing a safe and homely environment, where all individuals are supported to make their own choices about the support they receive. 
As a team, we do everything that we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support. We focus on building positive outcomes so people lead lives that are as independent as possible.

Seeking positive and enthusiastic individuals to join a strong and consistent team that provides daily support services to a group of 6 individuals that are based next door to each other. The applicant must be able to demonstrate and maintain own initiative within the requirements as per their job description.

Essential to being successful in this role you will need to​ be confident in;

  • Understanding learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour
  • Using a Positive Behaviour Support approach to supporting our residents
  • Being responsible for and leading a team of support workers and key workers
  • Administering medication
  • Meeting with professionals both internally and externally
  • Managing individual’s finances and the homes budget as required for the role in line with policy and procedures.
  • Managing Quality Performance Indicators (QPI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the service.
  • Audits and meet the actions assigned to you in a timely manner.
  • Support the service in performance management and the disciplinary process as required.
  • Shared learning from all situations and supporting the team to meet compliance and excel in delivering an outstanding level of quality to the resident of our service.
  • It will be essential that you have experience in a similar setting, and are able you lead a team to meet the needs of the individuals, you will also need to be able to use a computer and full clean driving licence preferred.
