Within community-based nursing setting, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury and behaviours that challenge.
The team at Shaftsbury Mews aim to offer a professional and high standard of care to all our residents. We offer long term and short term care for residents with a Learning Disability or Mental Health, young physically disabled and acquired brain injury.
We are currently recruiting for support workers -Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.

Job Advert Role Description
Shaftsbury Mews- is a nursing service, 3 bungalows with 6 service users in each.
Each bungalow is lead by a staff nurse who directs the personalised support for the individual who reside in the service service.
Although it is a nursing service the bungalows are designed to be personable, and the support provided is based upon the service user individual needs and wishes.
