Job Advert Role Description
Mill Garth Hospital is a 21-bed high dependency recovery and rehabilitation hospital, located in Meanwood, Leeds. We provide active and positive engagement for males aged 18 years and over, who experience a range of mental health disorders.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the provision of the catering operation by assisting with basic food preparation and hygiene.
- Collaborate with catering staff in both meal preparation and cooking, following the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for specific aspects of the catering operation under direction.
Hygiene Standards:
- Ensure that the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards, adhering to the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Appreciation of basic food hygiene.
- Experience in a catering environment is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working Environment:
- The role involves routine tasks within a busy kitchen environment, using various equipment.
- Sustained physical effort and concentration are required.
Training:
- The role holder will be expected to participate in Priory’s mandatory training.
