In last two years we have invested heavily in Priory Hospital Norwich in order to revitalise our service and ensure that we put our patients at the centre of everything we do. We are currently in the process of a phased opening and are looking for candidates who are committed to being a part of our long term journey. The hospital focuses on adult acute services, and currently has one male and one female wards open, with a new female acute ward opening soon and potential for additional future wards. The aim of the hospital is to offer a high standard of patient centred care at all times whilst promoting a supportive and enjoyable work environment. Due to the 24 hour nature of the unit, our nurses benefit from 24 hour medical and management cover in order to support the team on the ward to offer consistently high quality care at all times.

We are seeking nurses at all levels of experience to join our growing team. You must be qualified as a first level registered nurse with the NMC and interested in working towards continually improving the quality of care that we provide.  

As a nurse at Priory Hospital Norwich, your role will be to provide and at times co-ordinate the daily patient care on the ward, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment which complies with statutory regulations and quality standards. You will have the opportunity to participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care, whilst also progressing and developing your career as desired by taking on additional responsibilities within the ward or hospital. As a growing hospital, Priory Hospital Norwich is a great opportunity for nurses who are wishing to gain further experience and progress their careers, and we are committed to supporting our staff to do so. Our nurses are supported at ward level by a ward manager and deputy ward manager, who provide regular supervision and support.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities

  • Registered nurse with active NMC PIN with 12 months post qualifying experience
  • Relevant clinical experience
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
  • Excellent verbal , interpersonal and written communication skills
