Priory Hospital Enfield is Located in Edmonton, North London, and offers acute and secure services for adult males and females. We have two medium secure wards, one low secure and one acute ward. We provide specialist mental health care to patients with severe mental illness, complex needs and people who require an environment with security and safety.

The quality and appearance of our services create the first impression for service users and their families and our Maintenance teams take huge pride in maintaining our buildings to the highest possible standards. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this by working hard to maintain the fixtures and fittings of our buildings.

As well as undertaking regular inspections of buildings, equipment, fixtures and fittings, you will also carry out the completion of routine and unplanned maintenance operations, ensuring minimal disruption to the service and compliance with operational standards and statutory regulations.

What we’d like from you:

Previous experience in building and grounds maintenance
Ideally a full, clean driving licence
Committed and enthusiastic
Able to use own initiative
Excellent organisational capability
Effective communication skills
Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude
Participate in on call - out of hours rota.
