Priory Hospital Burgess Hill has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our Team; in September 2023 we opened a third ward which is a 10 bedded male adult PICU.

The hospital is currently split across three units:

Jupiter – male psychiatric intensive care ward
Neptune – male psychiatric intensive care ward
Venus – acute general adult male-only ward

As a Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse, your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Assessing and monitoring the needs of patients
  • Collaboratively planning the care needs of the patient
  • Developing positive behavioural support plans with patients
  • Being an active part of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Administering medications

To do this you will need the following:

  • Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a Valid NMC PIN
  • To be a team player
  • To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
  • Good listening and rapport building ability
  • To be able to organize and prioritise your time

Percentage of pro rata splits for Welcome bonus based on working hours:

16 hours and below contract – 0%
16.5 – 32.5 hour contract – 50%
33 hour + contract – 100%

  • Relocation support (including payment for accommodation or moving costs), paid as a lump sum
    • Moving less than 100 miles up to £1,500
    • If more than 100 miles up to £3,000
    • To be repaid if individual does not complete probation & leaves
  •  Payment into the pension scheme
