Job Advert Role Description

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work alongside the experienced team in aspiring to provide excellent service to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients. 

The ethos of the units is to provide support in times of crisis and to offer therapeutic engagement during the inpatient stay working alongside appropriate risk management plans.

You would also be expected to:

  • Fetch and carry supplies to the wards
  • Move furniture
  • Fix minor issues (rehang curtains)
  • Clean building areas, including entrances and external areas
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure patient safety
  • Manage the building's cleanliness and orderliness
  • Ensure the premises' safety by reporting H&S issues
  • Operate cleaning tools and equipment

Working hours Mon to Friday 3.5hrs a day between 07.00-17.00.
