Reporting to the Private Therapy Lead, the successful candidate will be joining our experienced Addictions team.

Priory Hospital Roehampton offers a comprehensive Therapy Programme. The aim of the programme is to target our patients' struggles through a combination of therapeutic groups and individual therapy as well as community support. 

The successful candidate will manage patients using evidence based and patient centric principals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. Interventions will be in both 1:1 and in a group setting. They will provide patients with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for recovery and independent living. The role holder would maintain and develop relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, making sure the clinical practice is in line with Priory Policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards.

The successful candidate will:
- be expected to deliver group therapy as well as psychoeducational groups based on recovery.
-have experience in working in a hospital setting and a recovery model background.
-be an accredited therapist or at least to work towards accreditation. If the candidate does not have accreditation, this will be reflected in the salary.

We take the development of our team very seriously and support with numerous internal training opportunities. Following a successful probationary period, CPD funding can also be requested for external courses.

Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.
The Private Adult Service, which the successful candidate would join, is made up of three wards offers general psychological care/support to a service user population of up to 45.
