Job Advert Role Description

Priory Wellbeing Centre Oxford is located right in the heart of Oxford’s city centre, and we offer easy access to exceptional outpatient treatment for a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders and addictions, as well as a dedicated young people’s service.

We are based on the top floor of a bright and airy building providing privacy and comfort to each and every one of our patients, and with flexible evening and weekend appointments available, we enable even the busiest of people to access the mental health support that they need.

We are currently seeking experienced family therapists (CAMHS and Adults) to join our team on a sessional basis.

The candidates must be an accredited therapist with a recognised professional body and experienced in both 1:1 and family/group work.

Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and working with children and families post diagnosis is highly desirable.

Our therapy team provides the highest quality therapy within a 1:1 or group/family environment. Offering an out-patient service, the candidate will work alongside our team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologist and Therapists.  A varied day of family/individual sessions and assessments with the associated clinical notes and communications are to be expected.

Full training on our systems and policies is provided.

The candidates must have experience in working within out-patient mental health services.

They will also ideally be able to work with both Young People and Adults.

The sessions can be completed flexibly including in the evenings, hence offering full flexibility and work-life balance. Due to the needs of our clients, you will be required to base yourself at our Oxford site for a minimum of 50% of your time to allow for in-person sessions.
