Job Advert Role Description

Ready for the recognition and rewards you deserve?

We don’t just talk about putting employees first. We know that Priory wouldn’t exist without their combined energy, expertise and effort.  So we invest heavily in training, provide first-class support, promote collaborative teamwork and give everyone on our team the opportunities and resources to achieve their full potential.

Stroud Residential Eating Disorders Service is a specialist residential service providing medium to long-term support and treatment for young people and young adults (aged 17-25) suffering from eating disorders and other associated complex mental health difficulties.

The role is based at Althea Park House, a 7 bedded home for young adults (17-25). We also have The Anchor, a 3 bedded semi-independent step-down home (18+) on the Althea Park House site.

This role allows an opportunity to build longer term, meaningful therapeutic relationships and use them to support people to affect change. We are fortunate to be able to do this in warm, homely environments, within the beautiful Stroud Valleys, in Glouctershire.

Our therapeutic model focuses on supporting our service users to build a life outside of the confines of their eating disorder or indeed, mental illness. We work hard to support those that live in our homes, to build their own resilience, sense of self and ability to connect with the world around them.

The role is primarily concerned with shift coordination, monitoring, developing and supervising junior colleagues and supporting the team to follow care plans and risk assessments.

We work 7.5 hour shifts, across 7 days. We also ask that our staff rotate onto waking night shifts. This works out roughly every 6-8 weeks.

Early shift: 7.30am-3.30pm

Late shift: 2.30pm-10.3pm

Waking Night shift: 10pm-8am

Due to limits on sponsorship allocations we are not currently in a position to offer sponsorship to new candidates for these roles, this remains under review.
