Job Advert Role Description

An opportunity has arisen for the role of Nurse Associate at Kemple View, Blackburn. We are looking for highly motivated Nurse Associates to complement our existing nursing workforce.

Who are Kemple View?

Situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley, Kemple View is a 90 bedded hospital split across two service lines – secure and rehabilitation and recovery. We cater to the treatment needs of male patients with a mental illness and/or personality disorder. We aim to maximise an individual's opportunity for recovery, to lead a more independent life back in the community wherever possible. We have six wards including Low Secure and Locked Rehab for male service users only.

Many of our patients have previously been in high, medium or low security. We aim to work collaboratively with our patients enabling them to take increasing responsibility for managing their own risks leading to a controlled and graded discharge. Where a patient requires greatest support we offer contextual risk management, enhancing compliance and aim to improve their quality of life. We serve the patient, carers and visitors.

Kemple View also has a dedicated and purpose-built ward offering Low Secure Forensic Specialist Older Age service for patients over the age of 50.

A higher profile is given to this patient group's physical healthcare, risk reduction and where required, mobility and daily living aids.
