Job Advert Role Description
Priory Hospital East Midlands is comprised of:
Littlemore Ward - female psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU)
Barton Ward - an acute ward for females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and personality disorders
The service will be dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care, which will enable patient’s recovery and re-engagement with the community.
This is a bank role which means this is a zero hour contract. Shifts will be allocated to meet the needs of the business
Duties:
- General Maintenance
- Banner, picture and notice board hanging
- Moving furniture and equipment within the hospital
- Ad hoc assigned works qualified and authorised to complete
- Unblocking drains, urinals, toilets and sinks
- Support the technicians in repairing leaking taps, door handles, closers and washers
- Assist the General Maintenance Technician in completion of minor works
- Bedroom curtain replacement.
- Low level cladding and maintenance.
- Internal and external store walk round inspection
Skills / Background / Qualifications:
• Passion to work in a hospital environment
• Experience in a trade and ability to do basic multiple trades, first time round.
• Joinery/ Building experience preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive in approach to job.
• Be physically fit and willing to be hands on.
