We have a wonderful opportunity for a CBT therapist to join our friendly, well-established and experienced therapy team. There are full-time and part-time posts available as we are growing the service. We welcome applications from therapists who are suitably qualified and BACP registered, but who are still working toward their accreditation with the BACP or BABCP. If you are a psychologist interested in this post, you must have HCPC registration in place.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, flexible, and an excellent team-player. Strong communication skills and the ability to work within an MDT is essential. This role is unique in that it offers you the opportunity to work across multiple service lines whilst maintaining a reasonable and manageable case load tailored to your strengths as well as the areas you wish to grow in.

The services you will work across include our private adult acute inpatient ward, our NHS partnership ward, as well as a small caseload of private and corporate outpatients in the area of your speciality. You will be expected to deliver a mixture of group therapy and 1:1 sessions.

Common mental health conditions that you will see in our service include depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD , and ADHD. If you have an interested in psychotic and other more acute conditions there are opportunities to learn and develop in this area. You may also be able to work alongside our addictions department if you have an interest in this area.

You will be able to formulate treatment plans and be familiar with outcome measures. Working knowledge of at least one other therapy modality is desirable. DBT, EMDR or ADOS experience would be beneficial but training can be provided in these areas through our supportive CPD programme.
