Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield and is situated with very good transport links. The site provides services in both a forensic setting (male medium secure & low secure) and acute services (mixed sex). The hospital can cater for up to 53 patients at one time across four wards.

Job Advert Location Description

We are looking for a caring and driven Doctor to work across our two medium secure wards for up to 31 patients. Our patient group is all male with a primary diagnosis of Mental Illness and will be receiving treatment through a forensic pathway. We are looking for a compassionate Doctor to work alongside our Consultant on the wards to complete assessments, actively lead discussions around treatment options with our patients and support the Consultants with the writing of reports for tribunals, CPAs and courts.

We provide an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and practice working alongside experienced Consultants and clinicians within the team, offering a wide variety of clinical practice not usually available within the NHS.   We offer a solid commitment to your CPD and have an excellent track record in supporting Speciality Doctors to achieve success in professional examinations and to move on to higher specialist training.
