Job Advert Role Description

Bannister Farm Cottage has 5 individuals with Autism and Learning Difficulties. The service is spread out between main hours and 2 self contained annexes where individuals are supported on 1:1 and 2:1 basis.

To be a deputy manager, you will be flexible and have experience in leading a team as well as being able to demonstrate experiences and knowledge of supporting people in a proactive, person centred way. You will need to have the experience and confidence to deal with the challenging behaviours that autism can present. Confident enough to make autonomous decisions, while collaborative enough to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will ideally have significant previous Deputy Manager experience in specialist residential care homes and demonstrate true commitment both to your own personal development and to the development of your wider team.
