Job Advert Role Description

Priory Group’s purpose is “To Make a Real and Lasting Difference for everyone we support”. Central support service to deliver multiple planned and unplanned capital projects across the Adult Care Division Estate. Estates team is 16 persons. 

Job Overview

Priory are looking for a Divisional Surveyor to deliver the Estates Capital Plan projects for the Adult Care Division covering the South, South West and South East regions. This is a fast paced role for ownership of multiple projects and involves liaising with all internal stakeholders, external consultants and contractors.

Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Ownership and delivery of the planned capital projects program, encompassing multiple unplanned projects (i.e. admissions, regulatory breaches etc)
  • Work closely and continuously communicate with key business stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, expected benefits, and outcomes.
  • Monitor program risks, implement responses, and manage delivery constraints to minimize risks.
  • Work in collaboration with any design and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and best value.

What we would like from the role holder

  • Ability to write scope of works for projects up to the value of £150k.
  • Effective time management skills and good ‘self-starter’ as will be given autonomy in the role.
  • Demonstrates success in delivering small to large-scale capital projects, and complex programs from start to finish, along with strong project management skills.
  • Good financial acumen and cost control.
  • Familiarity with [Industry] structure, governance, and processes.

Desirable

  • Relevant membership accreditation (i.e. RICS or CIOB) but not essential.
  • At least two years experience in a similar role.
