The Priory Hospital Middleton St George is located close to Darlington, County Durham and provides individualised treatment and care for people with mental health needs of adults who present with complex and challenging behaviours, in a safe and supportive environment. Our comprehensive integrated services offer complete care pathways allowing service users to transfer effortlessly between the most appropriate care, meeting individual needs enabling recovery and re-engagement within the community and maximising life opportunities.
Our multi-disciplinary teams provide care for up to 107 male and female service users, working collaboratively with their commissioners, across our 8 wards and our nearby community house. We deliver acute and recovery and rehabilitation environment which includes a specialist female Personality Disorder service. Our focus is on the delivery of excellent care, empowering service users to progress towards the least restrictive setting and towards independence. Our vision is to place our Service Users at the heart of our service provision, working closely with them and their carers to support their recovery and rehabilitation.

We are looking for a keen and resourceful HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team.
As a HR & Site Learning Administrator you will provide efficient, professional and effective administrative support to the HR team, ensuring the company’s human resources policies and procedures are used appropriately in relation to the employment of staff at The Priory Hospital Middleton St George.
You will assist in the recruitment and selection of employees, provide administrative support to managers, handle external and internal enquiries, and ensure the effective operation of administrative processes and procedures.
As Site Learning Administrator you will help co-ordinate and monitor the implementation of strategic learning and development initiatives at a local level in liaison with the central learning and development function, line managers and approved training providers and ensure training is delivered in accordance with company policy and statutory regulations. This is a key strand of our engagement activity this year and you will have the opportunity make a real difference in shaping how we continually improve our learning and development opportunities for colleagues from a range of disciplines and professions.
You will also help promote, organise and coordinate the e-learning training database ensuring all staff receive the appropriate level and type of training and development required and remain compliant. Updating HR information systems and local database systems for employment information with updates throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy of data input and reports on
information, as needed. Liaising with other departments as and when required.
The role is a permanent role with a salary of £24,870 per annum. Candidates should be educated to A-Level or equivalent and should either hold a CIPD qualification or be prepared to study towards it. Previous experience of working within a Human Resources department is desirable. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following skill set:
