Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be a capable team player who is reliable, with exceptional customer service and who possesses excellent communication skills. You will be able to successfully manage pressurised situations and have experience of working in a busy kitchen, the role also includes the responsibility of managing a small team to ensure the consistent smooth running of food production areas within the Kitchen. Line management responsiblities include the mangement and reporting of sickness and holiday absences and ensuring the team is compliant with mandatory training.
To ensure effective control of stock purchasing, receipt, storage, preparation and service with regard to quality, quantity and safety.
To ensure, that all food production areas are operating to the required standards throughout the designated opening hours.
Maintaining a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guest’s expectations.
To ensuring that the food operations are controlled in a manner which reaches the desired cost of sales and maximising potential and optimising resources.
To ensure that at all times cleanliness, food safety and all other Health and Safety matters are adhered to so as not to breach any legislative points within the Food Safety Act 1990 or the Health and Safety at Work Act.
A full clean driving licence is essential.
Working hours/shifts are between 7am and 7pm with some weekend working required. Open to discussing flexible working arrangements in order to promote work life balance. specialist treatment in mental health. The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services. The hospital has residential facilities for 56 patients as well as day care and outpatient services.
