Senior Support Worker

Priory Adult Care is currently looking for an enthusiastic Senior Support Workers to join our service. Levitt Mill & Barn is a residential care home of two buildings in the Mill we have six service users both male and female and in the Barn building we have five again both male and female. The service will offer specialist residential care to adults with complex needs, suffering from learning disabilities autism and challenging behaviours. Offering a homely environment, Levitt Mill & Barn aims to ensure its residents all have fulfilling lives, achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
Job Advert Role Description
The role of Senior Support Worker will be both varied and rewarding. When on shift you will be in charge of one individual facility - caring for the maximum of 6 service users at any one time. Your duties will include: carrying out medication rounds, planning and attending activities, personal care, supervisions and management of support teams and key holder responsibilities. There will also be involvement around staffing; coaching and mentoring of current staff, inducting and training of new starters and shift planning.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience working within a similar role and have obtained QSF level 2. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop further; the Priory group can offer further QSF qualifications to management level (Level 5), a full mandatory training program, including medication training if required. The role comes with structured careers pathway and opportunity to progress not only within the role at Levitt Mill & Barn but within Priory Adult Care group as well.
