We are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker to join Conquest House in Farcet, Peterborough. At Conquest House we support up to 15 individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and behaviours that challenge.
Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Senior Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial.

As a Senior Support Work you will:
- Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager of the Service to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise the preparation, planning and delivery of group and one-to-one social, and recreational activities.
- Conduct the welcoming of new residents ensuring they are comfortable and familiar with the environment and to impart essential information to their families and/or carers.
- Ensure resident files and records are updated in an accurate and timely manner.
- Observe and monitor the wellbeing of the residents ensuring any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to more senior staff and documented as appropriate.
- Supervise support workers in delivery and supports people who use our service in achieving their outcomes in the way that they choose.
- Support staff in own team to maintain effective professional relationships with the people who use the service, their families, colleagues, outside agencies and other professionals referring any issues to senior staff as appropriate.
