Job Advert Role Description

 

Priory Hospital Barnt Green is set in the beautiful surroundings of Lickey Hills to the south of Birmingham. The hospital provides services for both NHS and private patients for a wide range of mental health conditions.

 

The service comprises of 3 wards:

- Clent Ward - 10 bedded female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit

- Jubilee Ward - 13 bedded adult acute ward

- Beacon Ward - 10 bedded private acute ward

 

The service takes a multi-disciplinary approach to delivering personalised treatment programmes to our inpatients as well as offering a private outpatient therapy service.   

 

- Deliver prescribed care to service users within agreed framework

- Plan and implement a structured approach to nursing

- Observe and engage with service users

- Monitor and review Nursing care plans

- Participate in clinical and non-clincal meetings

- Practise nursing duties and delegate appropriately

- Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients

- Adhere to priory policy and adhere to NMC codes
