Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group and provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for adults with a range of mental health problems. There are 7 wards, with a total of 77 beds, comprised of Acute Mental Health, Male PICU, Rehabilitation and Recovery, Specialist Eating Disorders, and private inpatient treatment for Mental Health and Addictions. There is also a private outpatient department offering individual treatment and group therapy for a range of mental health problems.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) on our Rehabilitation and Recovery ward.
The postholder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide psychological assessment and intervention for inpatients with severe and enduring mental health problems, as well as inpatients with neurodegenerative disorders. The postholder will also carry out indirect clinical work, including providing psychological consultation to the team and facilitating team formulation sessions.
You will need to be an HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) and be eligible for Chartered Psychologist status with the BPS.
