Job Advert Role Description
We are currently recruiting for a number of sessional staff to support our CAMHS team in their delivery of therapy and triage assessments (assessment processes launching from December). This role involves working with young people under the age of 18 years, presenting with depression, anxiety, neurodiverse conditions and other common mental health challenges. Occasionally young people will present with more complex needs. As a sessional member of the team, you will see predominantly outpatients both on-site and remotely. Our supportive CAMHS Lead and Therapy Services Manager will support you through invitations to team meetings, reflective spaces, and helping you with any safeguarding processes you might encounter. You will have the opportunity to liaise with Consultant Psychiatrists, where clinically indicated. This is a lovely opportunity to be a part of a growing service within our hospital and to become an associate therapist of the Priory Group.
Essential criteria:
Fully accredited (either an accredited member of the HCPC or BACP/BABCP)
Completion of relevant degree
Trained in CBT or DBT and ability to deliver these services competently
At least one year of post-qualification experience in working with young people
Ability to independently manage a flexible patient case load
Excellent self-management
Strong administrative skills in report writing and record keeping
Willingness to attend at least one CAMHS meeting per month
Breakaway/RRI trained (if you plan to work on-site)
Enhanced DBS
Should you have any queries, please email our Therapy Services Manager Kirsty Rice kirstyrice@priorygroup.com or Elena Thompson elenathompson@Priorygroup.com.
We look forward to receiving your application.
