Job Advert Role Description

Priory Mildmay oaks are recruiting for Staff Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurse and Registered Learning Disability Nurse.

The salary for this role is between £34,900 - £37,227 + £3000 Welcome Bonus and Relocation Support up to £3000.

We have Full Time and Part Time positions available.

Our shift patterns are:

Day Shift: 7:30am to 8pm

Night Shift: 7:30pm to 8am

As a Staff Nurse you will be working within a team that includes a range of professionals.

You will be central to providing high quality care within a locked, specialised mental health medium secure/low secure and rehabilitation and recovery setting. The patient group consists of Personality Disordered Learning Disability and Enduring Mental Illness.

As a Registered Nurse you will provide direct care and interventions to Patient/Service Users, without direct supervision, and co-ordinate the care given by colleagues.

The post holder will deliver high quality, safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) Code.

Mildmay Oaks Hospital is a specialist in-patient service for people with learning disabilities and/or autism who suffer from any of mental health disorders, personality disorder and offending behaviours. Our patients may be detained under sections of the mental health act including hospital treatment orders and in some cases, deprivation of liberty safeguards (DOLS).

Mildmay Oaks is a low secure and locked rehabilitation service for men with learning disability and autism spectrum disorder, and for women with learning disability.

Rated Good by the CQC, we work collaboratively as a multidisciplinary team to support our patients and deliver treatment holistically to ensure that our patients are at the centre of their treatment. We collaborate with families, external professionals including care coordinators, social workers, commissioners and others, to ensure that we good communication and building positive relationships.

We are 2 minutes from Winchfield Train Station and we offer a taxi service in the winter to and from the station.

Qualifications and Experience:

Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN

Experience in mental health services or a similar setting
