Job Title: Administrative Assistant (MHA Administrator and Medical Secretary)
We have a 12-month secondment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to undertake dual responsibilities, dividing their time equally between MHA (Mental Health Act) administration and Medical Secretary tasks. This unique role offers candidates a chance to gain valuable insights into the legal and medical context of our work with patients.
Responsibilities:
MHA Administrator Responsibilities:
Maintain and update MHA-related records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Assist in preparing and processing MHA-related documentation.
Collaborate with legal and healthcare professionals to facilitate MHA-related procedures.
Support the coordination of MHA-related meetings and appointments.
Medical Secretary Responsibilities:
Schedule and manage appointments for medical professionals.
Efficiently manage medical records and patient information, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Assist in transcribing medical notes and correspondence.
Handle incoming and outgoing communications, both digitally and in person.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong administrative skills.
Proficiency in various IT programs and databases.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding of MHA and healthcare practices (preferred but not mandatory).
Reporting Structure: The Administrative Assistant will report to [Name or Position], and may work closely with medical professionals and legal staff as part of their responsibilities.
