Job Advert Role Description

Set in the leafy suburb of Edgbaston, close to Birmingham City centre, Priory Hospital Woodbourne is conveniently located for access to the West Midlands motorway network and with very good local public transport links.

Woodbourne hospital provides a diverse range of inpatient services. These include acute and psychiatric intensive care services for adults, Child and Adolescent Mental Health services, a specialist adult Eating Disorder service and a private addictions service.  Across seven wards, our multi-disciplinary teams deliver personalised treatment programmes to our patients and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care. 

An exciting opportunity has risen for an Activity Coordinator.

You will be delivering group sessions to inpatients across out CAMHS and adult mixed acute wards.

Our Activity Coordinator will deliver sessions across the hospital on evenings and weekends with patients. The successful candidate will have creative abilitites in creating and delivering group sessions. The post will require the Activity Coordinator to deliver group sessions focussed around self-care, self-soothing techniques and creative outlets to explore and work through emotional distress.

Level 3+ qualifications in counselling, life coaching or mentoring are desirable but not essential, experience in delivering of group sessions also disired.
