Priory Hospital Solihull is a 31-bedded mental health rehabilitation service for a males and females aged 18 and over. The service is arranged across three separate wards and is for patients who have severe and enduring mental illness, which might include treatment resistant conditions.
We are an independent sector hospital however all of our patients are NHS patients and we work very closely with local NHS trusts to ensure we promote recovery and facilitate discharge at the earliest opportunity that is safe. We have a diverse and extensive MDT including Ward Managers, Deputy Ward Managers, Nurses, Consultant Psychiatrists, Speciality Doctors, Healthcare Assistants, Administrators, Housekeepers, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Maintenance, Catering staff, Therapy Assistants and a Senior Management Team on site.
We pride ourselves on excellent working relationships with patients, families and external agencies to support collaborative working and ensure clear communication throughout the care pathway.
Our wards are:
Arley Ward - 10 bedded female rehabilitation ward
Elkin Ward - 10 bedded male rehabilitation ward
Millison Ward - 11 bedded male rehabilitation (community facing) ward
