Senior Support Worker

Due to a genuine occupational health requirement, we are looking to hire male candidates for this role.

Priory Adult Care is currently looking for an enthusiastic Senior Support Workers to join our  facility based on the outskirts of Leeds. Carlton House supports 16 male service users living with Autism. Offering a homely environment, Carlton House aims to ensure its residents all have fulfilling lives, achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.

The role of Senior Support Worker will be both varied and rewarding. Your duties will include: carrying out medication rounds, planning and attending activities, personal care, supervisions and management of support teams. There will also be involvement around staffing; coaching and mentoring of current staff, inducting and training of new starters and shift planning.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience working within a similar role and have obtained NVQ level 2. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop further; the Priory group can offer further NVQ qualifications to management level (Level 5), a full mandatory training program, including medication training if required. The role comes with structured careers pathway and opportunity to progress not only within the role at Carlton House but within Priory Adult Care group as well.
