Priory is the leading independent provider of behavioural care in the UK, and our private Healthcare division includes a nationwide network of 24 hospitals and wellbeing centres.

We provide support to over 10,000 people each year across four core service lines, delivering outpatient, day care and inpatient treatment.

 

The Priory Wellbeing Centre in Birmingham is a private out-patient hub. It provides a space, where people with mental health needs can access both psychiatric and psychological therapy on a private basis. Referrals are mostly from GPs or other allied professionals. Patients are both self-funded and via private insurance. 

The Centre is actively seeking dynamic, innovative and ambitious Visiting Consultants to join us.

 

What the role involves:

• Assessing and treating outpatients
• Looking after inpatients
• Working closely with therapists and psychology colleagues
• Adding value through quality and governance involvement
• Developing your business and expanding your practice symbiotically with Priory
• Joining site on-call rota if that works for you
• Networking with colleagues and referrers
• Maintaining professional development and Revalidation
