Priory Hospital Norwich is a 34 bedded acute mental Health hospital which opened in 2020 across 3 wards situation in the town of Attleborough. The role of Deputy Ward Manager is to provide senior nurse leadership on one of our acute medical wards provide the expertise to junior staff members and providing exceptional patient care. Priory Hospital Norwich ensures that we put our patients at the centre of everything we do. We are a busy acute unit aiming to offer a high standard of care and deliver great outcomes for patients.

 

The role of the Deputy Ward Manager is to provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.

They will have a degree of clinical experience and leadership that provides expertise and confidence to the nursing team and ward overall.

They will have defined delegated responsibilities from the Ward Manager; have 1 day a week protected time for their deputy Ward Manager duties and have supervisory responsibilities for an agreed group of staff
