Job Advert Location Description

This is a 1 year temporary part-time post for 30hrs Shift pattern: 4 days TBA (Mon – Friday, no weekends)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Priory Hospital Glasgow for a HCPC Registered Dietitian to develop practice and provide a clinical service within the Adult Specialist Eating Disorder Unit covering a 1 year maternity leave. The post is based at Priory Hospital Glasgow, Mansionhouse Road. 

 

Applicants must have a BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics or Post Grad Diploma/MSc Dietetics and HCPC registration.

 

The role includes managing a caseload of patients with complex eating disorders as well as other mental health conditions and co-morbidities both individually and in a group setting, menu planning and support, effective working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, facilitating family meetings and contributing to the discharge planning process.

 

We are looking for an individual with a range of transferrable skills, who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about working with this client group. Previous experience of working within eating disorders and mental health setting is desirable. As an independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital we can offer you training opportunities to develop your skills in a supportive environment as well as flexible working.
