Priory Hospital Solihull is a 31-bedded mental health rehabilitation service for a males and females aged 18 and over. The service is arranged across three separate wards and is for patients who have severe and enduring mental illness, which might include treatment resistant conditions.

We are an independent sector hospital however all of our patients are NHS patients and we work very closely with local NHS trusts to ensure we promote recovery and facilitate discharge at the earliest opportunity that is safe. We have a diverse and extensive MDT including Ward Managers, Deputy Ward Managers, Nurses, Consultant Psychiatrists, Speciality Doctors, Healthcare Assistants, Administrators, Housekeepers, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Maintenance, Catering staff, Therapy Assistants and a Senior Management Team on site.

We pride ourselves on excellent working relationships with patients, families and external agencies to support collaborative working and ensure clear communication throughout the care pathway.

Arley Ward - 10 bedded female rehabilitation ward

Elkin Ward - 10 bedded male rehabilitation ward

Millison Ward - 11 bedded male rehabilitation (community facing) ward


We are looking to recruit a Ward Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the deisgnated line manager for site, the role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative service for the wards including financial administration for the wards.. The role is an important part of the administrative team within the hospital.  This role will also general financial administration.

This role will be ideal for a candidate with general administration who are now looking to grow their skills and knowledge.
